This event will sell out, so make sure to get your tickets early.
Proceeds from this event will go to the local scholarship fund for CU students from San Diego.
This is the major fundraising event of the year!

The Details
When: Sunday, August 23rd. Event begins at 1:00pm. First race is at 2 p.m.
Where: The Pacific Pavilion (the infield of the Del Mar Race Track)
Prices
Before August 9th-These tickets are in a reserved special section which requires purchase of Group Tickets. Purchasing a ticket the day of the races WILL NOT ALLOW you access to the special group section, so you must purchase through us in order to join us in the special reserved section in the Infield. Map of location will be sent with tickets (Blue Stretch Run gate and through tunnel.)
Adults-$25/person for admission, race program & All-American BBQ, $8/Race admission and program Only
Children-17&Under-$20/person for admission, race program &BBQ, $3/Race admission and program Only
After August 9th
Adults-$30/person for admission, race program & All-American BBQ, $10/Race admission and program Only, Children-17&Under-$21/person for admission, race program &BBQ, $4/Race admission and program Only.Parking is $8 per car paid at gate.
- Barbecue includes a one time trip through the line and the menu is as follows: Grilled All-Beef Hot Dogs, Barbecue Quartered Chicken, Corn on the Cob, Cowboy Beans, Potato Salad, Sliced Watermelon, Potato Chips & Rolls, Ice Cream Bar, and Lemonade or Iced Tea. This is the best full meal option in this section, but there are concessions as well. If your kids aren’t going to eat much, you might not want to purchase it.
- Barbecue must be pre-ordered and cannot be bought the day of the event and is served in the whole section, not exclusive to us. You can also bring a picnic lunch.
-The Pacific Pavilion is covered, so this is a rain or shine event, and tables and chairs are reserved, so no other chairs are necessary. No outside alcohol can be brought in.
-Dress code for this part of the race track is casual and it’s usually hot
****-There will be a large raffle for various gift packages- CU gear, gift certificates, Padres tickets, etc—worth $50 and up, so bring your cash!****
Ticket Delivery Method
Tickets purchased up until August 18h
Race only tickets will be mailed to registration address within 3 days of purchase. Race tickets with barbecue tickets will be mailed approximately August 18th.
Tickets purchased after August 18th will be left at Group Services Will Call with name of registrant. If you and your party are coming separately, but register together, please email Kelley to let her know the multiple names for each envelope. You cannot enter without a ticket!
Refund/Cancellation Policy
There are ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS on this event. Tickets may be given to friends/family, however, we always have lots of people that want to attend and we would like as many alumni as possible, so you can return your tickets to the Club, and we will attempt to re-sell them after the club allotment is gone, and then your money will be returned. You can do this by contacting Kelley Dukat at kelley@cuinsd.org.
Please do let her know if you cannot use your tickets after purchasing them as there has been a waitlist in past years.
