Registration deadline for all chili and bake-off entries

If entering the chili cook-off, register at the Judge's table by 12:00 so your pot is in the running! If you have a dessert you'd like your fellow Big 12 alum's to judge, stop by the table and pick up a number!
12:15 -

Judging begins!

All selected chili judges report in for instructions and preparation, while Chef's make those last few touches to the chili. Judges will put their tongues to the test and select the Best Chili, and alums will follow and have the chance to vote on their favorite, hottest, and most original chili! After sampling the chili, sneak over to the sweets and vote for your favorite dessert baked by a Big 12 Alum!

2:00ish -

Winners announced

Gather around the picnic tables and see who takes home the "Porker Trophy" and who the Alumni selected as their favorite chili, and favorite dessert!

COOK-OFF GUIDELINES

Chili Cook-Off Awards

Judges will score all chili entries on taste and smell. The total combined scores will determine our top three winners, and the chili with the highest combined score wins the coveted Porker Trophy. We like to have each school represented in judging. If you are interested in being a judge, check in at the Judge's table by noon. Chefs can not be official judges

Alumni Awards

Big XII Alumni will have their chance to pick their favorite, hottest, and most original chili, as well as their favorite dessert!

In these contests anything goes bribery is an option! Ballots are available at the check-in table, sample the good eats, mark your selection for each category, and drop the ballot in the voting box! Total votes for each category will be tabulated, and the entry with the most votes in each category wins! Multi-voting is allowed! Have fun!!
